Lead Guitarist wanted
We are an established band out of the Staunton, Illinois area and we are looking for a lead guitarist. We've been playing for years now as a three piece and feel that the time is right to add some fullness to our sound. We have several gigs lined up in the next few months and new gigs are popping up all the time. We play pretty much anything we dig, from Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings to Pearl Jam and Toadies. At some point we would also like to write originals to throw into our setlist. To be considered for this band, the right person must be willing to play all styles of music that we cover. You don't have to like all of the songs, admittedly, there are a few that we play that are for the crowd and not us, but we do them because it gets folks on the dance floor. We try to keep our country and classic southern rock song list growing because we get invitations to play at holiday parties, wedding receptions, homecomings, and the occasional chicken and beer dance where those types of songs are requested. We steer clear of modern "Top 40" country, though, and tend to gravitate towards more underground artists (Shooter Jennings, Hank Williams III). We range in age from 29 to 37 and would prefer someone within that range as well. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, just hit me up and I can send you links to our songs that we have recorded and a list of our songs as of this moment.
