Practice: Once a week for now. I play solo acoustic shows on the weekend, I would like to incorporate additional musicians as we are ready.
Look: I want to make good music, not terribly concerned about "looking" like the next big thing and sounding crappy. So who cares? :)
Mishmash of bands I would like to sound like: Frightened Rabbit, Matt Pond, David Bazan, Radiohead, Nada Surf, City and Colour, Radical Face, Arcade Fire,
Margot & TNSAS, Jars of Clay, Say Hi, The Joy Formidable, Naked and Famous, Florence and the Machine, etc.
Something original with flavors from these artists would be a lot of fun. |
