Solipsis is an Ogden based Experimental/progressive Metal project that is dedicated to creating a sound and style that is unlike any other. We draw influences from jazz, electronica, progressive metal and alternative/post rock among many other things.
-Drummers MUST be able to play to a click in studio live!
-Must own your own equipment transportation
-Must be able to play in complex time signatures, be comfortable with tempo changes, unusual song structure and improvisation
-Must be able to jam AT LEAST 2 times a week. (mainly weekends)
-Must be able and willing to help and support the band (IE: studio time, touring expenses, booking etc.)
-MUST LOVE MUSIC of all kinds NOT just metal because our goal is to create something new.
-(Vocalists)- Must be able to SING not only scream and be involved in the writing process IE:(Willing and able to write lyrics and vocals with us as a band).
