I'm looking to start a group with five gay males (myself included) that is like a boy band that has everything you love about our female counterparts but in gay male form. This is will be a group that sings our empowerment, battling your own demons, discovering yourself worth and other topics generally directed towards issues that affect us. However I'm targeting a mainstream audience. I don't believe that gay male artists and groups have to appeal to a niche to sell records. My vision for the group is a gay male version with the fun image and variety of the Spice Girls with the lyrical potency of TLC and the vocal talent of En Vogue. I kind of wanted the group to have one of each kind of walk of gay life (the fem, the scene boy, the jock, the bear and possibly a transgender male, etc) and really have the showmanship skills to prove to people that despite our sexualities which use to create our characters we are so much more than that. We are artists too. Keep in mind I want everyone to come as they are. I am very feminine myself but if I end up having four masculine guys or four twinks flanking me out then hey whatever. Our different personalities would become a part of our stage characters as time goes on. There are some requirements though:
-You have go to be able to hold a tune. You need to be able to at least sing well enough to carry a harmony. We all don't have to be able to bring the house down. Most groups have one or two strong singers. The Spice Girls had Mel C. TLC has Chilli,
-You have to be able to learn how to dance. You need to be able to pick up moves and learn choreography. I'm not the world's best dancer but I can learn if taught. It's okay if you can't bust a move on the spot. I'm going to try and balance the group so that everyone brings something different.
-You must be between 18-25. All races are welcome.
- You have to have a good attitude and willing to be flexible. Working with new people and their personalities is hard enough. Don't bring negativity. If you don't think you can do it don't.
- You have to be gay/bisexual/transgendered male, etc. We are mostly going to be singing songs from a gay point of view and I want everyone to live their truths. You aren't living your truth if you're singing about guys and you are straight.
- You have to be willing to make some new brothers! This is going to be a bonding experience for all of us and want everyone to have fun and grow to love one another! Let's show the world the true power of male love!
If you are interested in being a part of this email me and we will set up a time for you to come down to my apartment and audition. Send a picture of yourself. Don't worry experience in singing and dancing is not mandatory although it would be cool. Also if you are a gay woman and you happen to come across this. Although we are not specifically looking for lesbians if you honestly feel like 'hey I could do this' audition. If you have something I'm looking for you're in.

Got Film & Commercial work Hi! My son (age 7), just auditioned for a Web Commercial for the Onion News Network. Joseph went out to New York City for the audition the next day. And, within the same hour he got a call back. Joseph has been very busy this summer with Film & Commercial work. He loves to act & be in front of the camera. I just wanted to thank Explore Talent for getting him this job & helping his resume grow. Keep up the super submissions! - Joseph Villani(Son) & Caryann Villani(Mother)
