Hi, my name is Shelton Taylor and I am a senior at Greenhill School. For my senior project I am making a short independent film. I will be working with fellow students as well as professionals.

Compensation: Actors will be compensated with a DVD of their performance, and will be provided will meals and snacks while shooting.
Shooting: The shooting will be set depending on when actors are available.

Synopsis: Scarlett Montgomery is teenage girl who has grown up in an extremely wealthy family, and her overbearing mother has her life planned out for her. Scarlett at heart is rebellious, artistic, and sexually alluring, but is forced to conform into the pristine women her mother expects her to be. As an artist Scarlett is gifted in that her perception of the world around her is distorted, allowing her to draw people and objects in a way that no one else could. Art is Scarlett's escape into a world where she is confined by the expectations of her society, and is free to be her true self. As the struggle to keep up with both her two opposing identities becomes far too difficult, Scarlett begins to slip into multi-personality psychosis. In the end Scarlett must metaphorically kill the half of her self that is an affectation of who she truly is, in order to find peace.

Since I joined Exploretalent.com last year around this time, I have landed two Feature Film major roles! I never would have realized the opportunities had it not been for you guys! The first film I received a part in was a feature by Raj Rahi called "ShutUp!", it will be completed this year. The second I am currently shooting here in Memphis is a major role with some great cash! I thought that this might be another one of those pay for nothing sites, but obviously you guys know what you are doing. Keep up the good work and keep the roles coming for me!!
