3 actors needed for short film "Paper Tigers"
I'm directing a short film in Minneapolis. It's a 15 minute short film that explores a young man's tumultuous encounter with a young woman, and their ensuing adventure to uncover their true fears. The script has been carefully crafted around a strong storyline, realistic dialogue with layers of deep subtext, and beautiful symbolism; all of which lead to a well structured short film. The film is entitled "Paper Tigers" and will be approximately 15 minutes.
We will be shooting this film with a professional crew and will be turning out a high quality (story-driven) short film. Actors will have an opportunity to showcase their acting abilities through complex characters in a character-driven storyline. We will be showcasing this film at numerous film festivals around the country/world in the next year, so this will be a great opportunity to get seen. In addition, based on the success over the next year, we have plans to shoot this as a feature film.
Tentatively set for November 2nd and the 3rd. Location is TBD (Minneapolis/St. Paul). Shoot will start in the AM and go into the early evening.
Unpaid. Food and beverages will be provided onsite. You will also receive a DVD and/or digital copy of the film.
If you're interested, please send me a link to your previous work or demo reel. If that unavailable we can possibly setup a casting call.
