FAT CHANCE is a campy throwback to the over-the-top, gross-out slashers of the '80's. Tossing aside the grim, gritty realism of torture porn and other modern fads, it prides itself on being a wild rollercoaster ride from beginning to end.

FAT CHANCE comes from the mind of Daniel Emery Taylor (THE RETURN OF SWAMP THING, ROAD TRIP) and will be directed by Taylor and Jim O'Rear (ABC's NASHVILLE, DAY OF THE DEAD). Taylor and O'Rear will also act in the film, joined by John Dugan (TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE, TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D) and Scott Tepperman (SyFy's GHOST HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL). The film is set to begin production in the late spring at various locations in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. Roles are not paid. We will provide lodging and food while you are on set. You will be responsible for getting yourself to set.

This is the second film from Deviant Pictures. Their first outing, THE HOSPITAL, is currently horrifying test audiences.

Film Synopsis: Ten obese men appear on a competitive reality show geared toward weight-loss. As the competition grows more intense the contestants realize they are losing more than just weight; they are losing competitors. Are the contestants dropping out voluntarily or is something more insidious going on? Will they survive? Fat chance.
