Indie Film Maker - Looking for Talent for Feature Trailer Underwood
"Underwood" tells the story of a beautiful novelist named Samantha Rollins who embarks on a weekend retreat to a lakefront cabin in hopes of getting some peace and quiet, unaware that the cabin is actually haunted. While cleaning up the old dusty space, Samantha finds a trunk containing a collection of love letters, old photos, and an antique Underwood brand typewriter which she takes a liking to and cleans up for possible future use.
Each night Samantha starts having the strangest recurring dream featuring the people in the photos that she found in the chest, revealing a story about something horrible that happened at the cabin many years earlier. As the dream progresses each night, Samantha gets closer and closer to revealing exactly who is responsible for the tragic event that transpired... and when she awakens each morning, her dreams from the night before have already been typed out and sit waiting for her on the table next to old typewriter. It's through her dreams that Samantha reveals the dark, half century old secrets of this cabin, though she has little time left to stop a hidden killer before becoming the killer's next victim herself.

I started on Explore Talent in March and immediately found my first audition for a voice over part. When I went for the audition, I didn't get the voice over...because they cast me for a supporting role. Next I self submitted to audition for a supporting role in a movie about a NY Crime Family Boss. I didn't get that part either...because they cast me as the LEAD!! Then I self submitted for a supporting role in another film and got that one. Yes, there have been others that I have submitted for but have either not gotten the call or had to turn down the audition due to conflicts (but that is a great feeling, when you can't do it- BECAUSE YOU ARE WORKING!!!) While these haven't been paid gigs, my resume has gone from basically nothing for the last 30 years to a nicely rounded experience grouping. As a result I now have 2 SAG Franchised agents to which I am signed. - Thanks for a great start Explore Talent!
