Mockingjay is now shooting in the Atlanta area and reports state that the film will keep filming into spring of 2014. All this filming also brings about a good amount of casting calls for extras, stand-ins and others to fill in the crowd scenes and open spaces on set.
Mockingjay will be the third of the 4 planned Hunger Games f1lms. The reason for 4 is that Mockingjay will be broken up into 2 parts, a Mockingjay part 1 and a part 2. The film is a trilogy, but it seems producers thought the last installment had too much material to fit into one film.
The second installment of the trilogy, Hunger Games:Catching Fire will be coming out in theaters this fall and we can probably expect Mockingjay out the following year.
CL casting of Atlanta is handling extras for the project and Atlanta residents can submit their info for a shot to be in the film.
All extras that are cast in the project will be paid between $60 to $100 a day, depending on hours worked and extras will need availability in Atlanta for 8 to 12 hour days on set.
To be considered, email photos of yourself (important: you must include a head, side and full-body shot) wearing no makeup, with your hair pulled back. Include your height, your weight, age, email and phone number and send
