So you have a script or idea for a drama or sitcom for TV. Now is your chance to bring it to life by enrolling into the BOP TVs Show Development Internship Program.
How do you break into TV as a writer? The most likely path is to join the staff of an existing show. To be considered for those jobs, you need to know someone in the business who would be willing to give you a shot. In addition, youll need perfectly executed samples of your original work play, screenplay, or pilot episode of an original TV series.
BOP TV recognizes that the talent outweighs the available jobs or connections in the television and film industries and has developed a program that will expose writers through the business of writing for film and television. In the BOP TV Show Development Internship Program, students will participate in a wide range of workshops designed to strengthen their abilities in a variety of formats and genres. Along the way, students will be developing their own show idea while learning all aspects of production from production and film study to script development and shooting your final producta pilot for BOP TV Network! This certificate program will give students a firm foundation in the basics of TV writing for BOP TV and any other television organization.
