FringeArts seeks a Coordinator to manage its Neighborhood Fringe program for the 2014 Fringe Festival in September. Neighborhood Fringe is a come-one-come-all platform for artists based in Philadelphia and beyond, who want to self-produce their own show under the Festival umbrella. The Coordinator must be a self-starter who will take ownership of all aspects of this program including recruiting artists, managing the programs database, guiding artists through the participation process, responding to artist inquiries, and providing complete accurate and timely information to our Marketing Department and Box Office.
Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, a facility for learning software, and experience in Word and Excel. Knowledge of the Philadelphia arts community preferred. This position is seasonal with an immediate start date. It is part-time from now until April 30th; and full-time from May 1st through September 30th. Salary: $10,000 for employment period.
