Synopsis: A group of doctors desperately try to document the first true case of Dissociative Identity Disorder, and help their patients along the way. One of them, however, may have a new technique that can make all the difference a way to kill off your alternate personalities and effectively commit Altercide.
Mark A heavy set or muscular man in his late 20's/early 30's. Diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Mark cannot come to grips with his condition as he honestly believes he's not crazy and that a ghost has been attacking him in his own home. Jumpy, jittery, and fast-talking, he has been seeing a psychiatrist to come to grips with his experiences not realizing he is an alternate personality for his other self.
Edna Late 20's/early 30's. Edna wears glasses, is shy and uncomfortable, and appears in a constant state of confusion. She blinks constantly as if trying to make sense of the world. Diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Edna is embarrassed and feels unclean that her husband, Mark, would make love to her one of her alternative personalities instead of herself. Edna loves Mark but has been seeing a psychologist in order to better come to grips with her situation and achieve greater understanding of her husbands preferred sexual desires.
Hanah A psychiatrist in her 30's, Hanah projects authority yet understanding. Soothing, caressing, and highly intelligent, Hanah helps her patients Mark and Edna come to greater terms with their Dissociative Identity Disorder prognosis. With an uncanny ability to understand both sides of her patients viewpoints, Hanah is ever the voice of reason in her practicality. To those who know Hanah well, however, there is more than meets the eye.
Dr. Shoenfeld A doctor in his 50's, Shoenfeld has become skeptical, and a bit jaded, in his years of practice. Unbelieving in the existence of Dissociate Identity Disorder, Shoenfeld wants to help
Dr. Camila avoid the embarrassment of being wrong and ostracized in the medical community for her beliefs and viewpoints.
Dr. Camila A doctor in her 30's, Dr. Camila passionately believes she is making a difference and that she has the first documented case of true Dissociative Identity Disorder. Truly compassionate towards her patients, and genuinely wanting to help them, Dr. Camila is unwilling to take no for an answer and believes her fresh perspective on medical research can make a difference vs the jaded viewpoints of others.
