When two (2) bounty hunters stop off at a bus station in the middle of the night trying to bring their capture to the nearest lock-up/jail, the interaction begins as the questions about morality and justice takes center stage in this fast paced three (3) act play, Broken Vow. George Orwell stated in his novel, Animal Farm, All are created equal, its just that some are created more equal than others. The indictment and capture of any citizen should have the same weight as any other indictment against anyone else, at least in theory. But upon examination of the matter amidst rumors, gossip and the tabloid press, the issue of total equality among all can be questioned.
Living in the United States of America that prides itself in the total separation of church and state, there are many honest and hard working citizens who believe the church or religion should play a deeper role in the administration of law and justice. The three (3) act play, Broken Vow, looks at the deeper issue of not only the role of the church, but, also the role of those who serve within the church.
