Short Resume:
The most recent and only time I have been on television was on the Today Show with Kathe Lee and Hoda for "Everyone Has A Story" segment. April 2, 2010- Spencer McCombs. Did some goofing around with modeling in college. No formal contracts or training. Have been told that I am photogenic and should be a model. Went to open call 5 years ago at Donna Baldwin Talent Agency, Denver. Was told I should have come at 18. I told them that the desire to be a teacher and mom when I was younger was more important to me than modeling. The scout told me I was a bit too late, that they had no work for my age group at the time as their headquarters had just moved to Phoenix. Have had 7 years of dance experience from hip hop to jazz to lyrical. Sang in concert choir, girls ensemble, and musicals at Columbine High School. Songleader for DZ sorority, where I was in charge of training sorority and fraternity for Songfest competition (dancing and singing combo). Won 1st place. Involved in daughter's drama team at school. From a large family where humor and theatrics were always a part of our everyday life.

Dancer background: SEE MUSICIAN PROFILE FOR DANCE PICS. Most recent production I was in was The Thorn Production performed 3/12 at World Arena, Co Springs and Magnus Arena, DU. Took my first dance class at the age of 36. Dancing grounds me and improves my mood, always. I dance mostly for myself, but I enjoyed dance classes/recitals for about 5 years at the Sundance Studio in Monument, CO. My best girlfriends in life came from that dance class.
Influences: Toby Bertch, Paula Chess (dance teachers). Nutcracker Ballet, Fosse, any movie with dancing in it. SYTYCD is my favorite show.
