I have been into music since forever and a day. I grew up around all types of music so that would explain why I am open to a lot of genre's besides Hip-Hop and R&B. Being the way that things have turned out for me, it leaves my music explorations into a endless path.
I could remember back in the days when I use to loop empty sections of a song just to make an instrumental track. It sounds easy, but it wasn't! I was doing everything by tape. I had to keep rewinding the tape and reconnecting where I had left off until the track was about 3 minutes and some change long. When it was done, I would play it outside on my radio and the crew would be flowing over these home-made instrumental tracks.
But over all, producing is what I shadow over being a rap artist or a engineer. Being able to do all these things could elimate them 3rd party people. Not to mention, at the end of the day, you can call yourself an entreprenuer and more cash flow will be heading in your direction. Because depending on "somebody else", isn't in my vocabulary.
