About Me: Hi my name is Kayla. I am very driven, and am always up for a challenge. I live in a small town so all I am looking for is a chance.
Short Resume:
I have taken dance for 14 years. I have taken jazz,tap,ballet,hip-hop,lyrical,contemporary and musical theater.I taught musical theater for 6 to 12 year old kids. I have been in many plays.
1.My first play i was in was Treasure Island i was Wee-Davy the letter man.
2.I was in The Jungle Book i was a dancer.
3.The Frog Prince i played a Flamingo who did flamenco dancing.
4.I was in the musical Charlie Brown , I played Lucy.
5.I was in the musical The Wizard Of OZ i was a munchkin and a poppy flower and a jitterbug.
6.I was in the musical Cats, I was a lead dancer.
7.I was in The King and I , I was Little Eva in Uncle Toms Cabin ballet scene.
8. Oklahoma I was the lead dancer, also helped choreograph this show.
9. I was in Leavenworth Summer Theater in The Music Man, I was a lead dancer and the farmers daughter.
10.I was also excepted to Minneapolis Children Theater camp. I stayed there for a month and we put on the musical Dear Edwina. I was the lead dancer.
11.The musical Joseph and the Amazing Techno Colored Dream Coat, I was the Narrator in the show.
12.I am currentaly in the musical School House Rock. I am going to be singing the songs Iterjections,Adjactives and Nouns.
Those were the big plays I was in. I have also taken voice leasons and competed in several state singing competitions.I would say i am a tripple threat. I sure would like to be given a chance.
